My favourite allergy-free recipe book is Melina et al.’s  Food Allergy Survival Guide.  It contains delicious recipes that are free of dairy, eggs, fish, gluten, peanuts, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, wheat, yeast and more.

There was a time when it was even difficult to follow most of the recipes in the book because my son’s diet was so restricted, but we’re at the point where we can make a lot of the baked goods.  There’s a pancake recipe that’s scrumptious.

The front end of the book contains some great information about living with food allergies, and how to conduct an elimination diet to help figure out what one is sensitive to.
