Healing the chronic miasms

Moses has successfully completed healing his lifetime’s worth of shocks and traumas in reverse chronological order (took 12 months to heal five years of his life). Yay, yay, yay!

I’m happy that Moses is done his first level of healing. It feels like a big milestone has been reached. It might be hard to tell by reading my monthly posts since the healing is gradual (and is up and down given the healing reactions), but when you look at what’s happened in a year, it’s truly remarkable. Once one has completed healing their timeline (which is said to represent one’s karma), everyone who undergoes Heilkunst healing then heals each of the eight chronic miasms, in the same sequence, at the same potency. It takes about a year to heal the first level of miasms (which is said to represent physical healing). There are three additional potencies after the first level, which heal deeper and deeper aspects of one’s being. The deeper the root of disease, the deeper one’s healing needs to go.

In the Heilkunst view, there are eight main chronic miasms, which are archetypal chronic diseases that are hereditary and most people are born with to a greater or lesser degree :

• Syphilinum (Syphilis),
•  and Lyme (Lyme).

Essentially all forms of disease (physical and mental) have their roots in one of the eight miasms. Given that Moses has been diagnosed with a genetic immune disorder, this is where the magic of Heilkunst healing will come in. As we tackle the eight miasms, the root of the disease will be removed from his system.

In Verspoor and Smith’s book, Autism: The Journey Back, they discuss that although it’s not possible to use homeopathic medicine to alter genetic code, it is possible to correct “the distortions in the functioning of the genes in terms of their folding and unfolding, which takes place in a fluid environment” (p. 90). The sequential treatment of the chronic miasms is the part of the Heilkunst treatment which addresses the inherited part of disease.

Given that last month’s healing reaction was so challenging and Moses’ eye is still healing, I’ve been nervous about embarking on this next step of our journey. I dug out my Heilkunst bible (i.e., Verspoor and Smith’s Autism: The Journey Back) and read and re-read all of the case studies that describe healing the chronic miasms, hoping that somehow it will prepare me for what’s to come. Some of the healing reactions described in Verspoor and Smith’s book sound very difficult, but it’s inspiring to know that there are always gifts awaiting on the other side of the (temporary) healing reaction. And those gifts are worth it.
