Good news

Some good news today.

Moses had an appointment with his allergist and pediatrician and both agreed that his lungs sound clear. DH actually hasn’t been giving him Flovent for the last month, so it’s clear on its own. There’s no plans on starting it back up again and neither doctor suggested that we do. Yay, yay, yay!

It’s a great sign (of course) that his lungs are clearing. He still has quite a bad rash on his back (although it’s a lot better than it’s been in the past), and it’s much better for the inflammation to be at the level of the skin rather than the lungs. According to the Heilkunst view, healing happens inward to outward, so this is a good sign overall that true healing is occurring and the disease is leaving Moses’ system.

Thankfully, his eye is healing well. His ulcer has “filled in”.

Also, this week marks one year since Moses’ last hospitalization due to pneumonia.  Truthfully, that was probably the last time that he was truly “sick”. He’s had bouts of other difficulties since then, but most of them have been related to Heilkunst healing reactions. It’s been a long and challenging journey with lots of ups and downs, but overall, true healing is happening for my boy.

All great things to celebrate!
